Born from the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa in October 2025, NMDT represents the resilience and determination of Northern Manchester residents. We're not just rebuilding roads—we're reconnecting communities and creating pathways to prosperity.

Hurricane Melissa strikes
Hurricane Melissa devastated Northern Manchester, damaging roads and infrastructure throughout Christiana and surrounding communities.
NMDT is founded
Community leaders came together to form North Manchester Development Trust, committed to rebuilding stronger than before.
First project launched
The Adopt-a-Road Project begins, identifying and mapping unmapped roads throughout Christiana for reconstruction.
